Cookie Policy

1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website stores in the visitor’s browser. Similar technologies, such as the browser’s local storage (localStorage and sessionStorage), do the same job, and this policy treats them the same way. This policy explains what the glossy.day website (the “Site”) stores. The Site is run by Mr Marc Morales Linares (support@glossy.day), and this policy is provided under Article 22.2 of Spanish Law 34/2002 (LSSI).
2. The only cookie that needs consent
The Site sets a single cookie that requires consent: the one for the affiliate programme, run by Affonso.
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
affonso_referral |
Affonso (third party) | Attributing the purchase to the affiliate whose link originated the visit, to pay their commission and apply their discount | 30 days |
- It only comes up if you arrive through an affiliate’s link. Only then is the cookie notice shown. Other visitors see no notice because no cookie is set for them.
- Nothing is set before you accept. Until you press “Accept”, the cookie is not set and nothing is attributed. If you press “Decline”, it is not set and the notice is not shown again.
- You can change your mind. The “Cookie settings” link in the footer reopens the notice. Your choice is remembered for one year; after that you are asked again.
3. Technical storage that needs no consent
The Site also stores in your browser a few pieces of data that are strictly necessary for things you ask it to do. None of them is read by a third party or used to follow you:
| Name | Type | What it is for | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
glossy-lang, glossy-lang-dismissed |
localStorage | Remembering the language you chose for the Site, or that you do not want it suggested | Until you clear it |
glossy-affiliate-consent |
localStorage | Remembering whether you accepted or declined the affiliate cookie | 1 year |
glossy-affiliate-arrival, glossy-creator-ref |
sessionStorage | Remembering, during the visit, that you arrived through an affiliate’s link | Until you close the tab |
glossy-discount-code |
localStorage | Keeping the discount code from the link you arrived through (for example, the one in the launch email), to apply it when you buy | Until you clear it or it stops being valid |
glossy-pending-plan |
sessionStorage | Remembering the plan you chose while you sign in, to continue the purchase | Until you close the tab |
sb-…-auth-token |
localStorage | Keeping you signed in if you sign in on the Site (to subscribe, manage your subscription or delete your account) | Until you sign out |
4. Cookieless analytics
The Site’s analytics are provided by Plausible, which sets no cookies, does not store the IP address and creates no persistent identifiers. It only provides aggregate figures (pages visited, approximate country, device type and referrer), so it does not require consent.
5. How to manage or delete cookies
Besides the “Cookie settings” link, you can block or delete cookies and local storage in your browser’s settings. If you delete them, the Site will ask you again where relevant and forget your preferences.
6. More information
The processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy. This policy will be updated if what the Site stores in your browser changes.
